Digital printing is the process of printing digital-based images directly onto a variety of media substrates. Digital files such as PDFs or desktop publishing files can be sent directly to the digital printing press to print on paper, photo paper, canvas, fabric, synthetics, card and many more.
Why Digital Printing?
Digital printing is an alternative to traditional methods such as lithography, flexography, gravure, letter press, and others – it eliminates many of the mechanical steps required for conventional printing, such as making films and color proofs, manually stripping the pieces together, and making plates.
An image is sent directly to the printer using digital files and should come out perfectly. The benefits are high quality prints that are quick to produce and cost-effective for the client.
